The Story - 3 male/3 female - Expandable Dance Chorus
The Story - The stars of these two passionate young lovers are definitely misaligned! Lifetime after lifetime.... from the prehistoric age, to ancient Rome, Medieval England, to the Gangster American 1930's, to a Star Wars future, these two lovers find, love, and lose each other through a series of farcical adventures and mishaps. A delightful imaginative comedy for all theatre groups.
A small core of principal actors repeats during each historical time period; returning as a different character each time...sometimes as a different sex! The cast size is adaptable. A wonderful opportunity for the performers to explore flexibility and variety! Three principal men and three principal woman... expandable chorus!
The expandable movement "Chorus" begins and ends each scene and contributes great spectacle, music, and choreography.
The plays action takes place in a "timeless forest." One simple unit set frames our heroic couple's quest through history.
Times and Times Again can be performed with simple generic costumes that can be accessorized to illustrate each historical period.
