David Moberg
has directed, performed, and taught theatre in Florida since
1981. He has directed over 200 main stage, black box, and
touring productions. A portion of his plays are
represented by NoTechTheatre.com.
David's newest drama, Teaching
A Dillo To Cross the Road was a 2008 Finalist for
Abingdon Theatre's Christopher Wolk Award. Falling From
Trees, won first place in the national Marilyn
Hall Youth Theatre Playwrighting Competition, sponsored by the
Beverly Hills Theatre Guild and first place Original Full Length
in Auburn University's 2007-2008 TigerTheatrecafe Playwrighting
Competition.
David Moberg received his BA in
Theatre from Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minnesota
under the direction of Dr. Delmar Hansen. He earned his
MFA from the University of Florida under the direction of Dr.
David Shelton.

Mr. Moberg served a two year term as the FCCAA Theatre Division
Advisor to the FCCAA Executive Committee. He is also a
recipient of the Florida Theatre Conference
Distinguished Career Award in the University/College
Division |

Mr. Moberg enjoys fishing,
scuba diving, spear fishing, hiking, and building. He
resides in Port St. Lucie with his wife, Yvette.
David's son, Mikhal Moberg, having recently completed a
master's degree
at UCF is currently employed at an environmental
engineering firm in Lakeland, FL.
David's son, Devin Moberg, is currently enrolled in the
University of Florida's School of Pharmacy.
Mr. Moberg attends St.
Andrew Lutheran Church in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
