The audience becomes the cruise passengers ready to set sail on Country Cruise Lines, "the Best  Floating Dude Ranch on the Seven Seas."  Before the cruise begins, Cruise Director Logan Masters selects five audience contestants to compete in the Queen of the Cruise Contest. The Queen is awarded many prizes.... most importantly... one million dollars in gold!  The female contestants select audience men to "help" them compete in contests like “Sing a Lonesome Love Song” and “Tell a Country Tale.” Audience members vote for which contestant will be crowned Queen of the Cruise. Very quickly, contestants are not only struggling to win the contest but to stay alive. It seems that someone is willing to “kill” to become the Queen of the Cruise.  Ten zany characters include:  a cruise line sheriff who speaks some obscure (and non existent) language, an overbearing mother, wallflower daughter, country bumpkin, gorgeous airhead, and incompetent but ambitious cruise assistant.... but of course no one is who they seem to be!

Country Cruising to Murder is FULLY SCRIPTED

Consistency equals success!  Unlike many other murder mysteries, all dialogue, action, and audience involvement in our plays is very carefully planned and practiced.  Very few performers, particularly young or inexperienced performers, can sustain two hours of comedic improvisation with audiences of diverse ages and interests.  Even performers experienced in improvisation often cross that fatal line between "being funny and trying to be funny."  Being fully scripted to look wonderfully spontaneous insures that every performance of Country Cruising to Murder will be consistently truthful, entertaining, and connected.

But we do not have a Dinner Theatre Facility

You don't need one!  Country Cruising to Murder can perform almost anywhere!  School cafeterias for students or parents; private dining rooms at local restaurants; clubhouses at retirement communities; fellowship halls at churches; meeting rooms at local hotels.

"To Eat or Not to Eat... That is the question!"

With food; without food, full meal; maybe only dessert... the choice is yours.  The plays are wonderfully engaging and entertaining with or without food.  When ordering the scripts, however, please specific whether or not your production will include a meal.  Slight alterations in the words and actions tailor the production to your special occasion.
